A few days ago, winner of the prestigious Car of the Year award, 2020 Jaguar I-Pace EV400 the first Jaguar in history with electric motorization. Here’s how it behaves in everyday driving.
2020 Jaguar I-Pace EV400 is undoubtedly the most revolutionary Jaguar that has appeared since the famous E-Type. Thanks to the electric propulsion that guarantees exceptional performance and zero emissions, but also of a bold style that represents the exact meeting point between an SUV and a sedan with a coupé look.

It makes a certain impression to get behind the wheel of a Jaguar and not hear any noise from a classic engine. Yes, because the two electric engines placed one anteriorly and the other posteriorly (giving life to the induced four-wheel drive) emit only a slight hum. But we know that they are ready to unleash the beauty of 400 hp overall and 696 Nm of instant maximum torque.
It is impressive to start with the throttle in full, because we are witnessing an immediate push, continuous and crazy at the same time. Something exciting that no heat engine could match.
The acceleration 0-100 km / h occurs, according to the Jaguar, in 4 “8/10, but it is very easy to” file “this time of two or three-tenths of a second. And what about the self-limited speed at 200 km / h that can be reached in one km from a standstill? Obviously this performance is feasible only on the track, because on the road respect for the rules is sacrosanct.
